Marjorie Turner Hollman is a disability advocate and self-published author of the Easy Walks in Massachusetts trail guide series and My Liturgy of Easy Walks: Regaining Hope in a World Turned Upside Down.
She is partially paralyzed and uses hiking poles, which allow her to say “yes!” to outdoor trails that would otherwise be inaccessible. She and her husband pedal their adaptive tandem bicycle on rail trails near and far.
Program Description
Thursday, February 13, 7 PM, on Zoom, come join Marjorie Turner Hollman, author of the Easy Walks in Massachusetts trail guide series. Learn about finding Easy Walks—both at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, and at other nearby open space properties.
Winter is here so we’ll address ways to safely get outdoors in colder weather. Since dogs are not allowed at the Refuge, we’ll talk about where else you can go to enjoy time outdoors with your pups. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
